Terms and Conditions

PLACING AN ORDER

 

Orders can be placed on-line via our website or in person in one of our cafes. Please note we do not accept telephone orders and payments. Full payment is required at the point of ordering unless agreed with us. You will be provided with an order confirmation with an order number and a payment receipt. If ordering on-line, check your junk mail folder as confirmations may be redirected there by your security software. Please check your copy of the order carefully and let us know if any items or prices are incorrect.

Payment can be done via Debit/Credit Card, Apple Pay, Pay Pal or Cash. Please be aware that no other types of payments are accepted.

 

Due to the number of cafes within L’ETO, it is especially important to check you have selected the correct café and time/date for collection/delivery. L’ETO cannot accept responsibility for errors made during the ordering process by the customer.

Orders the current cake menu require a minimum of 48 hours notice. Wedding cakes and special or large orders require a minimum of 48 to 72 hours. The earliest possible fulfillment time is always offered when placing an online order or when an order placed.

 

ORDER TIMELINES AND AVAILABILITY

Cake orders are placed in via web-site require 48 hour preparation period .

All currently available cake (size, price, decoration) you can find on our web-site.

L’ETO is not able to make any changes in the current recipes or create a new recipe based on your requests.

 

CHANGES TO ORDERS

 

Alterations to orders may be requested, but we may not be able to accommodate late changes.

 

COLLECTING AN ORDER

 

If you have arranged to collect from one of our cafes, the cake/food item will be available within the time-slot confirmed. If for some reason, you are unable to collect on the day specified, please contact us. We will hold the cake for you until the end of its shelf-life when it will be discarded.

Please note: Once an order has been accepted, it is your responsibility to safely transport to its destination.

 

DELIVERY OF AN ORDER

 

Where delivery is requested, it is your responsibility to ensure a complete and correct address is supplied, along with the correct phone number and e-mail address for contact. It is also your responsibility that there is someone to accept the delivery at the address. L’ETO cannot accept responsibility for late or missing deliveries due to insufficient or incorrect information supplied, or because there is no-one to accept delivery. All covered delivery postcodes and delivery time slots are available on our web-site: www.letocaffe.co.uk. A possibility for deliveries to out of L’ETO delivery zone areas should be requested and additional changes may apply. Please be aware that drivers are not allowed to take any payments from you.

 

SPECIAL ORDER DEPOSITS

 

For some cakes, an additional plate/dish deposit cost may apply (£30, £50 or £65). This deposit will be held against any loss/damage to items hired. Deposits will be refunded straight after the return, once all hire items have been checked at our premises. Where the deposit is requested, it is your responsibility to provide all correct details (name, surname, phone number). It is also your responsibility to return a dish/state/tray/plate to a cafe where a cake has been collected from. All dishes are supplied with the cake must be returned washed. You are responsible for any breakages or losses of L’ETO dishes and plates.

 

L’ETO IS NOT ABLE TO PROCEED A DEPOSIT REFUND WITHOUT PRESENTED A RECEIPT!!!

 

 

QUALITY

 

L’ETO food and cakes are hand-made, using fresh natural decoration ingredients. Therefore, there may be slight variations in appearance from those shown in our publicity material. We reserve the right to replace unavailable components with those of equal or better quality.

On collection or delivery, it is your responsibility to check the appearance of the cake. Please take the time to inspect the order, as L’ETO cannot take any responsibility for visible errors not identified and shown to staff at this point.

 

 

CONSEQUENTIAL COSTS

 

L’ETO make every effort to fulfil you order correctly. In the unlikely event that this does not occur, please note L’ETO does not accept any responsibility for consequential costs incurred due to errors made with products supplied or delivered. This does not affect the customer statutory rights.

 

CANCELLATIONS

 

We can only guarantee a full refund of your order up to 3 days prior to the collection or delivery date also in case you ordered for the following day and we only can provide a full refund if you let us know before 4 pm. Please note that if you cancel between 12h to 48hrs prior to delivery or collection date you will receive a maximum of 50% of the order total. In the event of cancellations within less than 24hrs of collection or delivery, L’ETO reserves the right to retain the total value of the order to cover costs.

PRICE CHANGES

 

L’ETO reserve the right to make price changes without prior notice but guarantee that no price increase will apply to any confirmed paid orders made by you for collection on a date after which a price increase has been made. Please note that individual cake prices may vary from branch to branch.

 

RETURNS

 

We do hope that you will be pleased with your purchase. However, if upon collection or delivery of the Products you will find that they are not those ordered by you (for example, the colour or wording is incorrect), or the order is incomplete, or a Product is in a damaged condition when you receive it, please notify us immediately by telephone on 020 7589 3734. If a Product is not as on the Order Confirmation or damaged, we will credit or refund a customer purchase. In the case of damaged goods, you must retain the damaged Products and all packaging for inspection by us. Subject to our report on the claimed damage and to these Terms and Conditions we will refund the price you paid for the returned Products together with the delivery charge, or at our option, we will provide you with a credit for further products. We will have no liability to you for any indirect loss. Please state clearly all your dispatch details in all communications to us.

We will only make a refund to the original credit card or debit card account used by you to make the online or cafe purchase. Legal ownership of the goods will immediately revert to us if we refund any such payment to you.

Since taste is a very personal matter and subjective we cannot accept the return of any Products merely because you do not like the taste.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on our Site and also to ensure that the colours on screen are as close as possible to the colours of the actual product. However, the colour of the actual product you can see on your screen will depend on your monitor, your screen settings, and resolution. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery and we cannot accept the return of any product because it does not match the colour you were expecting from viewing your screen display.

The provisions of this clause do not affect your statutory rights.

Every care has been taken to ensure that the photographic representation, description and specification of each product is accurate. Orders are subject to availability. We will not be legally bound by any factual or typographical errors on the website or other promotional material. Before you place an order you should read these terms and conditions carefully as they contain important information about your order. By submitting an order to us through our website, you represent and warrant that the payment details provided on your order are valid and correct, and that when your order is accepted and processed by us, payment will be made in full.

By placing an order you confirm that you are the person referred to in the Billing details. Acceptance of an order placed by you online and the completion of the contract between you and L’ETO CAFFE will take place when your order is dispatched, unless you have cancelled the order in accordance with our Returns & Refunds procedures below.

Purchased items can be delivered within Central London or collected from our six branches.

We aim to deliver all orders on the date requested. In the unlikely event of a system fault or delays, we will inform you and offer an alternative delivery date. If you order more than one item, we may send them in multiple deliveries at no additional charge. Our standard delivery charges calculated to compensate cost of fuel. If you have any queries regarding delivery, please contact our head office on 020 7589 3734 or email info@letocaffe.co.uk quoting your name and order number. Please note that if you wish to change your delivery / collection time / date you must do so in writing until 4pm the day before your delivery / collection should take place.

  1. Returns & Refunds

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, contact our head office on 020 7589 3734 or info@letocaffe.co.uk within 24 hours of delivery and explain the why you are not satisfied. Depending on the circumstances we might exchange, replace or refund the item price.

Please contact info@letocaffe.co.uk quoting your name and order number if you wish to cancel your order. Please make sure you have given sufficient notice as processed order cannot be cancelled and you will not be refunded.

None of the above affects your statutory rights when goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied nor does it affect your rights under the Consumer Protection Regulations.
